DaVinci Digital is a general computer consulting firm that provides a full range of IT solutions including systems analysis, custom software development, networking, desktop support and overflow/project staffing. DaVinci Digital has developed many software solutions for its clients. We currently have several large projects in development, including:

  • A web-enabled software project that provides instructions and fill-in forms for people filing court documents with the state court of Oregon.
  • A custom help desk application for ADP that is based on the Microsoft Outlook/Exchange platform.
  • Custom account/fund management software for a financial services company in the Portland area.
  • A web-enabled state-wide system for accessing over a half million client records for law offices across the state of Oregon.

DaVinci Digital also has extensive experience in designing and implementing network systems including e-mail, database, application, and file servers as well as the infrastructure to share them on a wide-area network or over the Internet.

DaVinci Digital is owned and operated by Michael McBride and Andrew Eisman.

Founders
Andrew Eisman’s career started at Teledyne Controls, where he worked on the first computer-controlled nuclear power plant. He then moved to Hughes Aircraft, where he developed the language for programming the on-board F15 and F18 radar timing and control systems. Andrew began a computer consulting company in Los Angeles in 1982, where he developed a full custom accounting/payroll system for the area’s largest temporary accounting agency. He also worked at UC Berkeley developing real-time research software for the world’s leading vision development scientist. Andrew founded DaVinci Digital in 1994.

Michael McBride’s IT experience began with mainframe and microcomputer support for Portland State University. During his time at PSU, he developed a campus-wide support program for Apple Macintosh computers. Michael went on to manage Microsoft and Apple LANs and servers for Integrated Measurement Systems. Michael then founded WebMap Internet Services which was one of the first companies in the US to build and operate a web-based retail software site allowing credit card payments and electronic delivery of product over the Internet. Just prior to founding DaVinci Digital LLC with Andrew, Michael was responsible for PC and Macintosh support for Automatic Data Processing’s (ADP) research and development facility in Portland.

Our software-solutions team has expertise in software design and development, project management, web development, technical writing, and online information design.

The software team is led by Jeff McBride, with over 25 years of experience in the industry, including nine years as a Software Design Engineer for Microsoft. During that time, he played a lead role in the design of Microsoft Excel, Multiplan, Schedule Plus, and Word. Other projects have included custom business solutions and multiplayer computer strategy games.
